218.2 - 214.4
3.8 lbs lost over a 2 week span
I have been yo yo-ing all throughout these weeks. Snacking, Slacking on exercise. But it's nice to see some solid results. Hopefully I can hold onto these.
I bought all my meals for the month in 1 day last week or so. Same old same old. But I need a healthy non perishable snack.

Oh fuck.
Started 220.6 ended
220 - Re-weighed, 218.2
What the fuck. It is one of three things.
1. I went sooooo overboard on my meatloaf last Tuesday that it set me back an entire week.
2. The "Salt & Vinegar" I've been eating daily since like Wednesday has caused me to maintain lots of water weight.
3. By increasing my protein I have effectively decrease the amount of total weight I'm losing and now it's just fat.
I increased my protein so much that I feel that has a lot to do with this. I'll cut out salt completely this week, eating 7 days straight and amazing and we'll see what the results are.
I'll also weigh myself later today to see if the results are any different. Fuck, what a wasted week. I though I was doing so well.

Weird week with results
This was a weird week.
Started at 223 and ended at : 220.6
I got some Whey which seems to be working well. But I made the mistake of going to GNC and paying 25$ for 1 lbs and I can get 4 lbs from Walmart for 40$. Ripoff.
So this is what I was going to eat day to day
Whey + Milk: 200
Tuna: 120
Dates: 120
Eggs: 140
Veggies: 50
Rice: 227
Frozen Yogurt: 100
Nuts: 240
1197 Calories and 91g of protein.
This was sort of a mess though. The Yogurt I bought because of the changing prices of Cottage cheese and it had less protein per serving and generally less in a serving than Cottage cheese. The dates are also that way. I seem to get my calorie content quickly by only eating a handful. Nuts are the worst. for 1/4 of a cup it's 240 calories. The protein is there but the calories are insane. What's worse is that I binged on those peanuts on Thursday or Friday probably eating 1000 Calories worth.
So I also picked up some Protein Bars to replace my Dates for a work snack. This way I am getting almost my required protein for the day but the Calories are increased by about 80 compared to the banana I use to have. And...
Those Protein bars are almost gone. I bought them at 6 for 7.50$ which sucks price wise so I found some 12 for about 12.50 at Costco. 280 Calories for 30g of Protein per bar. That's a lot for a mid mid day snack. So I'm thinking about cutting them in half and having half during work and half after supper. My new meal plan should look like this
Whey + Milk: 200
Tuna: 120
Protein Bar(1/2): 140
Eggs: 140
Veggie: 50
Rice: 227
Protein Bar(1/2): 140
1117 Calories and 107g of Protein.
So even like that I could have the whole bar at Lunch and throw in some Yogurt after dinner and hit 1217 calories. I'll try both and see which works better. I'd like to be on a good cut but, aren't I already?
Current BMR: 1849.61. Which means I'm still on a cut of 650 and from my numbers before I don't even lose a majority of my weight from diet as much as work.
Do want to clearly call out the shit I ate this week. Multiple times I had Chili. My family cooks a nice little meal whenever my brother comes for a few days and I indugle EVERY TIME, And then some afterwards. I ate their Chili w/ Rice, w/ Bread all in one evening. I also ate some Fava Beans(dried, fried, salted), those Peanuts, and last night I ate even more Chili, like 3 cups worth probably. I have however resorted to eating a little Vinegar mixed with salt in small drops. It seems to be working and if I keep the portion small I don't see there being any health problems.
I only workout once this week, Ran home once, did carts at least twice. So idk where this exercise is coming from. In my mind this week should have been a failure.
Anyway! Here's to a new week!

Progress that isn't fast enough
224 last week
223 This week
Fuck. Two reasons I fucked up this week.
1. I made homemade beef jerky for the first time and clearly took that too far.
2. I ate a bunch of those Smiley face fry things.
But what's sad about this is that I still lost 1 pound and that's a complaint to me.
Anyway I'm looking to try the Keto Diet when I get down to about 200. Hopefully that way I can get down in bf%.

P.S. I'm switching this week from fresh banana to dried fruit, more specifically Dates. This way I wont be hitting up the grocery store every 4-5 days and spending money I don't need to.

Quick post
226.2 to
224 on the dot.
Lots of home cooking this week. Got a new job at this place that sells like turkey and mashed potatoes. Getting exercise from work, not much lifting unless I have days off.
I was eating these packs of noodles as a snack and realize they weren't 180calories but instead 380! Insane. Also been snacking on Olives and Chocolate coffee beans which I'm sure is a slight set back.

A Weeks Progress: Laziness Prevails!
So I had this week off work and was on "Staycation" it didn't seems like I did much. I walked home from downtown once which was like an hour walk, biked to and back from downtown, did a few sets of weights, some crunches, and another like 10 minute walk, and yesterday I worked. Still less than a week of work to me.
229.2 to 226.2
This week I lost 3 lbs. Decent. Not way what I'm looking for but progress none the less.
I join Fitocracy.com also, been logging a few workouts there. Pretty cool site, I like the idea, but it needs more quests.

A Weeks Progress: Another 4, I'm sore
This week I weighted in at 229.2 from 233.2:
I lost exactly 4 lbs
This week will be tough though. I did some lifting yesterday and now I'm super sore. Tomorrow I'm going way down town so I'll have a good 10 blocks+ to walk/bike.
Lifting though is a crazy workout. But I really need to learn better form before I hurt myself. I also need a good rack for the bar. Oh well.
As far as my diet goes there aren't any changes. I have however tried some more tofu lately and it's pretty good stuff and way cheap. Just not sure it has enough protein compared to eggs or ground beef.

A Weeks Progress: Weight lost!
After the whole week is said and done my weigh in was excellent.
Started at 237.8 and end the week at 233.2
4.6 Pounds lost
I ate well pretty much all of these last few days. Had a Mc Rib since I hadn't had one since I was a kid. Moving was a hell of a workout. Up and down stairs with smaller boxes was more a workout than lifting the heavier things with two people.
This week should hopefully have similar results. Next week however I'm on my "Staycation" so I'll have to actually break out the weights to get exercise. Might give one of these a go.

Moving day
Ugh moving day, packing up part anyway. Today I had some Mc Donalds, 1570 calories worth, plus two smokies with put me at roughly 2000 calories for the day and another 140 for eggs.
2140. Which is about my BMI allows plus the exercise. Tomorrow I'm going to hang around 1500. Walking up the the fourth floor of my new apartment with all those boxes will be a rough day.

Back from the dead!
Ugh I totally skipped out on this. Keeping track of my Calories was a hassle to be honest. This time around I'll just keep track of the stuff I eat out of the ordinary and just have a template for my standard meals.
I was repeatedly going to the food court to eat Chinese food for weeks. Each meal is like 1500 calories in one sitting so that with 1 other meal and work I basically got no where. I keep justifying eating crap food by counting the calories. When I didn't know how calories worked I held myself accountable, not thermodynamics. And the cravings! I'm being such a wimp!
So I'm moving to a new place in 2 days and will be without internet for a bit so I'll update when the time comes.
Current weight: 237.8
Fingers crossed!

Week 1: Shock! Shock!
Starting weight: 247lbs
Ending weight: 242lbs
~Calories for the week~ 1964 BMR
April 1: 1533
April 2: 2030
April 3: 1540
April 4: 1195
April 5: 1500
April 6: 1790
April 7: 1430
Total: 11018
13748-11018= 2730 calories lost from cutting. So for the 5lbs to have been lost I needed to burn...
3500*5= 17500-2730= 14770
So I burned 14770 calories by just going to work. But my work does involve me running around all day, lifting boxes, and the doing carts two of the six days I did work. I was also sick this week and ate some comfort food so I think I did pretty well. I've already started this week off poorly! Yay!(Mmmm Teen Burger)
I just want to add how much of a waste Wii fit is. I was talking to someone at work about it and it just seems like such a waste. I'm pretty sure you won't be building much(or any) muscle while playing these little games and it seems like more of a good idea in theory than something of actual use. I bought DDR a month ago or so and barely even played it. These things are just a waste.

My Story So Far
I've been fat almost all my life. Two years ago I decided to change that. I use to play World of Warcraft all day, everyday. I ate whatever I wanted and ended up weighing 344lbs.
I suppose I went on a crash course diet trying all sorts of food combinations of so called "healthy foods" and managed to lose 23lbs in my first month. But it was sort of a hassle to juggle all those meals and plan out what I was suppose to eat and when. Eventually I began eating the same basic thing everyday following the "Canada Food Guide" roughly and getting some food from each group.
1-2 Cups of Rice. At first it was Instant Brown Rice, then White, and now I buy the big bags of Parboiled rice. The big bags cost 1/4 as much as the instant stuff and takes 2 minutes more to cook.
Frozen Vegetables. I never really have time to get fresh produce so I eat frozen veggies throughout the week.
Eggs/Tune/Lean Ground Beef. These are my sources of protein. I'll only have two of the three during a day. Two hard boiled eggs since cooking in oil in sort of out of the question. Lean ground beef is amazing and once I added it to my diet I seen no negative results. Tuna is low is fat and all that crap, never had an issue with it, it's cheap, and I try to stray away from it from time to time in case the whole mercury thing is for real.
Cottage Cheese. This is the only dairy I have pretty much ever. I tried yogurt for a while and it just wasn't that great. Soy Milk is nice from time to time.
Seasonings. I use pretty much anything without salt. I was/am addicted to salt to a point where it's disgusting. I usually use Chilli powered, Italian seasonings, basil, Curry, and sometimes chicken soup base.
So after my first month, and losing 23lbs I was optimistic. But something wasn't quite right because I didn't get down to 300lbs until maybe a year later. I'd like to place some of my blame on World of Warcraft. I get into that game and lose track of all my goals. Up until last October my weight slowly got down to 290lbs and fluctuated around there. Then I got a new job, got off my ass, quit World of Warcraft, and over the holiday season I went from 290-247lbs. Sadly I think they way I did this might have caused me to have more loose skin than anyone would want. Right now I have bingo wings and if I keep going I will probably need a tummy tuck. So I need to start lifting weights, which I have bought.
My current stats are.
Weight: 247lbs
Height: 6'0
Chest: 44 Inches
Waist: 40 Inches
Hips: 42 Inches
I wear XL shirts and size 15 jeans.
Hopefully this blog will be a good place to track my further progress and help motivate other people.
